The Manager of Industry Development plays an essential role in our School’s success and reputation worldwide. The vision is to enhance our academy’s strategic growth initiatives within the professional training and development sector by cultivating dynamic industry partnerships, and delivering innovative solutions that position the academy as a transformative force within the hospitality industry. The individual will lead initiatives with educational institutions, corporate partners, and key industry stakeholders. Through data-driven strategies, personalized engagement, and targeted outreach, the Manager will play a vital role in positioning the academy as the leading destination for hospitality education in the region.

Education and Professional Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field (required)
  • Postgraduate qualification or experience in training, business development strategic marketing (preferred) with an accredited certification in training highly advantageous.Significant experience working in the hospitality industry, ideally in roles involving training, sales, marketing or This hands-on experience is crucial for understanding training needs and trends.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

 

Experience:

  • At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in a related industry, with a focus on training, stakeholder management, business development or a related area.
  • Experience in consulting, and partnership development is highly desirable with a demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding targets.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, stakeholders, and internal colleagues is essential for collaboration, securing buy-in, and ensuring long-term partnerships.
  •  The ability to think strategically, analyze industry trends, and contribute to the development and implementation of long-term training initiatives is crucial for ensuring alignment with the academy’s goals.
  •  Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a talent for relationship-building.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in performance tracking and analysis.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multicultural, and fast-paced environment
