Manager Infra Project Delivery
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with business and demand management on feasibility analysis and prioritization assessment of solution delivery and provide insights on business case viability, solution design complexity and IT capabilities and effort estimations
- Manage and monitor development of the functional design specifications for CAPEX projects
- Manage E2E solution delivery from demand until production and facilitate assistance for design related matters throughout the delivery cycle to enhance solution delivery quality.
- Manage the scope of work-package handed over to the MSP and monitor the delivery process and identify improvement opportunities in delivery schedule management by the MSP
- Manage with MSP on design and execution of enhancement projects to ensure better quality and timeliness of service delivery
- Set the standards for programming tools and techniques, advise on the application of these standards to ensure compliance by the MSP
- Evaluate and provide inputs on effectiveness of end-to-end delivery process followed within IT to enhance overall time to market
- Build and implement testing policies and practices as implemented by the MSP enhance the quality of delivery from MSP
- Manage the unit tests and system tests phases, and monitor related document preparation
Qualifications, experience, skills and competencies
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor in Information Technology/ Information Services/ Computer Science
- Master’s degree is a plus
- Certifications such as e-TOM, BSCS, ISO, ITIL etc. is a plus
Experience:
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in an Information Technology/ Information Services role
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Telecommunications Industry
- Excellent understanding of IT solution design, development methodologies, testing types and project management
Skills
- Proven ability to lead large transformation projects
- Very strong technical knowledge in telecom infrastructure
- Proven track record of managing vendors
- Proven track record in governance and financial management
- Fluent in English and Arabic is advantage
