The role of Marketing in WTW is two-fold: to support the company’s growth and revenue goals and to protect and promote a consistent global brand. As trusted business partners, the marketing group functions as an integrated global team providing comprehensive marketing support to all business segments and regions through well planned and executed marketing campaigns.

The Marketing Lead, Middle East / Marketing Manager, Middle East role is an individual contributor role based in our Dubai office.
In this position, you will be a member of the regional CEEMEA geography marketing team that is focused on supporting the business in achieving its commercial goals for the Middle East market.

The position will deliver on innovative marketing programs to support the Middle East market and management of all marketing activities that can be tracked and measured. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong business acumen and demand generation capabilities, relevant experience with core marketing strategy and execution, strong digital marketing skillsets, excellent project management, communication and collaboration skills.

The Role

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Marketing

  • Marketing Strategy: work with the business leaders in Middle East markets to set the marketing strategy for each segment and Line of Business including segmentation, targeting and positioning. Output of the strategy include: marketing campaigns, budget, KPI setting and measurement and ongoing update of marketing plans based on campaign performance
  • Marketing Campaign Delivery – you will work with the sales teams to reach the target audience and drive Marketing Qualified Leads by executing projects and campaigns including segmentation, targeting and positioning. Output of this plan include activities in: industry and partnership events, hosted events, direct outreach campaigns, digital marketing and social media

Clients

  • Drive demand generation with leads as the marketing deliverable to the business
  • Be a marketing thought leader and introduce innovative and effective content through multi-modalities, omni-channel marketing channels that are engaging to clients and prospects
  • Understand the client’s buying journey and buyer roles and be adept at segmentation strategies and best practices to effectively target and deliver appropriate messaging
  • Communicate effectively with team members and internal clients to set expectations, advance projects, and troubleshoot issues.

Excellence and Innovation

  • Partner with Middle East business leadership to create and develop successful marketing strategies for the market and prepare and deliver the marketing plan that identifies the ideal marketing mix and strategy to leverage regional and local activities that will accomplish the following objectives:

– Understand market goals and key client issues

– Generate sales lead opportunities from marketing initiatives

– Enhance and foster relationships with existing clients

– Create internal awareness of key marketing initiatives and programs and support follow-ups

Financial

  • Manage the allocated country marketing budget and provide counsel to the country and segment leaders on the best use of the budget for maximum marketing ROI
  • Work with Finance and vendors to ensure invoice is coded correctly, expenses are paid timely and track budget accurately
  • Provide analysis and insights into marketing activities and related costs to determine their effectiveness and impact and provide performance benchmarking

People

  • Identify cross-business collaboration opportunities and build relationships across the business segments to effectively channel marketing objectives across the Middle East markets
  • Partner with marketing colleagues and internal business clients to define project objectives including sales opportunities and deliver projects on time and to required specifications.
  • Foster collaboration and coordination with marketing colleagues and understand different roles and responsibilities within the sales and marketing organisation.
  • Build strong relationships across multiple stakeholders to effectively establish marketing objectives and ensure full support for the marketing strategy and plans
  • Communicate and partner effectively with local and regional team members and internal clients to set expectations, drive project completion, problem solve issues to ensure most effective marketing strategies are delivered in impactful markets and measurable ways

Requirements

  • 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally gained within a financial services, professional services, human resources consulting or insurance broking environment.
  • Strong language skills – English and Arabic language expertise. Native Arabic language – written and spoken
  • Data driven marketing experience with a strong background in the design and implementation of field marketing and demand generation activities such as Revenue Marketing, Account Based Marketing
  • Proven experience with creating new marketing opportunities and a background of engaging clients with innovative and engaging methods that produced measurable results for positive ROI
  • Strategic and tactical marketing experience, with specific emphasis on marketing planning, execution and experience with marketing technologies and online project management tools
  • Digital native that will drive exceptional and creative Marketing campaigns online (LinkedIn, Twitter, Google Advertising, etc)
  • Strong communicator that can partner with business leaders to achieve revenue goals and business impact for the Middle East market
  • Exceptional project management skills to effectively manage multiple campaigns, events, requests and deadlines in a timely manner
  • Detail-oriented, action-oriented and results-focused
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Outstanding written and verbal presentation skills
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills and the ability to present issues and resolutions in a persuasive manner
  • Flexible marketer with the ability to self-direct and regularly switch between strategic and tactical responsibilities
  • Working knowledge of marketing technologies (Marketo, MS Dynamics, Cvent, ON24, Sitecore) a plus.
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business is preferred.
