Officer – Finance Contracts (National Development)
Job Description
To review, evaluate and update vendor and service contracts to ensure compliance with internal policies, identifying risks and providing cost analysis to support management decisions, while enhancing the finance support function to drive value and reduce organisational costs through meticulous contract analysis and reviews.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews the contracts with vendors for the commercial terms, pricing and service levels from finance perspective to identify areas of improvement and cost savings
- Processes and validates invoices related to direct operating costs by reviewing supporting documents and confirming alignment with contractual terms.
- Supports reconciliations and reports for key suppliers in relation to confirmations for audit requirements and financial accuracy.
- Ensures the contract language aligns with the airline policy for financial terms, invoicing and settlement terms.
- Conducts cost comparison for contract renewals based on historical contracts to identify saving opportunities and flag areas of significant cost increment for management decision.
- Compiles and analyses pricing and consumption data for the historical periods to support vendor negotiations in service levels, pricing etc.
- Collaborates and review contracts with procurement to ensure the cost-effective options are identified for cost reduction
- Maintains proper documentation of contract changes, cost variances and costs increments achieved over the years for key cost areas.
- Ensures proper storage and archiving of contracts in relevant systems for ease of reference and access for audits and other compliance requirement.
- Coordinates with the internal team & external teams in flydubai to get the necessary documents to process invoices in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree (3+ years)
- Degree in finance or professional accounting
- Fluent in English & Arabic
- 0 – 2 years

ISR REQUIREMENTS
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
