Officer – Network Planning & Analytics
Job Description
To support analytical and business intelligence capability, developing dashboards and predictive models that identify and apply data-driven solutions to solve and optimise network planning and scheduling problems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designs and deploys intuitive dashboards that transform complex data into clear visuals and actionable narratives, supporting decision-making and business objectives within the context of network planning and scheduling.
- Conducts evaluations and impact analyses of network changes, such as capacity deployment, aircraft swaps, or new routes by leveraging predictive analytics.
- Supporting analytics and business intelligence within the department and helping meet the needs of the Network Planning and Scheduling team.
- Assists in delivering analytical components for special projects requiring unique BI and machine learning expertise, such as new hub analysis, joint ventures, airline start-ups, etc.
- Develop and maintain data sources and data flows in Tableau and other analytical tools, ensuring data accuracy, validity, and integrity.
- Apply machine learning algorithms and build data models to analyze time series data for forecasting, anomaly detection, and trend analysis, enhancing network performance insights.
- Assists with the analytics contributions and technical production of the annual Budget Operating Plan exercise.
- Design and build blended analytical models combining multiple data sources to generate creative insights aligned with strategic goals, key performance indicators, and progress metrics.
- Assists in risk assessment activities and in ensuring that the compliance measures are in place for the department via the company-specific Information Security Regulations (ISR) protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree (3+ years)
- Degree to be in Operations Research or any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) vertical
- Fluent in English
- Experience in Airline network planning or operations preferred, but not essential
- Experience as a Data Scientist/Analyst using environments such as Python or R Tableau, Power BI or MicroStrategy
- Years with qualifications: 3 – 5 years
- Certification in Data Analytics, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI or MicroStrategy preferred

ISR REQUIREMENTS
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
