Partner Enablement Lead, API Banking (MENAP, E&A)
Job Summary
The role supports and drives forward the growth of the Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) business by implementing API-driven propositions that enable front-line teams with complex, multi-market and co-created solutions. It provides technical insights, reviews API deals, and delivers data-backed guidance across the deal lifecycle. The position defines market-specific API requirements, ensures compliance with Open Banking regulations, engages industry stakeholders, and supports API-led revenue growth and client adoption across markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrated excellence in API Banking with proven track record of supporting frontline and Implementation teams in delivering complex solutions while providing technical insights and solutions to meet client needs.
- Provide data-driven leads and comprehensive support across the deal lifecycle, from prospecting to acquisition, implementation, and servicing.
- Responsible for reviewing and approving Cash Deal Reviews (CDRs) related to API deals.
- Drive market-specific Product Technical Requirements (PTRs) to activate new API capabilities / corridors while capturing insights to enhance the Open Banking Marketplace (OBM).
- Act as a subject matter expert in the OBM to guide clients through discovery, implementation and actively contribute to OBM content creation.
- Support the integration of third-party solutions and artifacts, ensuring the pre-integration of strategic partners for streamlined plug-and-play solutions.
- Ensure compliance with Open Banking and Open Finance regulatory and industry initiatives at the market level by actively engaging regulators to facilitate Sandbox testing and ensure readiness for implementation.
- Lead expertise in consent management and user journey design for open banking and finance.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated excellence in API Banking with proven track record of serving corporate & Financial Institution clients.
- Strong expertise in Global Cash Management Practices, Trade products, Cross-border remittances, Transactional FX and Custody products
- Strong Product Management, Project Management, analytical problem solving and use of relevant tools.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing multi-market, medium to large scale product enablers and platforms in the transaction banking / Markets / Custody.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality deliverables under tight timelines while maintaining precision and excellence.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree preferably in Information Technology.
- Fluent in English.
