Job responsibilities:
- Managing the maintenance, repairs, testing and calibration of equipment for operational use,
- Ensuring operations are aligned with company and/or manufacturers standards and procedures.
- Carrying out staff development, performance appraisal and training requirement duties.
- Overall knowledge and understanding of the drilling systems and equipment operated by the Company.
- In depth knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems combined with a good working knowledge of the associated electrical control systems
- Allocation and prioritization of company resources to meet project requirements and mobilization deadlines.
- Offer technical advice to Drilling Supervisor and Rig Mechanic to facilitate performance of their duties.
- Supervision of base and offshore personnel when they are assigned to maintenance duties.
- ·Liaison with the Technical Manager to assist with technical planning and resourcing of projects
- Oversee spare parts and consumable levels to support operations.
You bring (qualifications & experience)
- Bachelors in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Minimum of 3 Years supervision of plant maintenance
- Working experience for offshore or Marine Environment.
- Extensive experience working with hydraulics and PLC control systems.
