Product Lead
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Defines and manages the product lifecycle including market requirements, product release plans, user stories, release criteria, product launch and organization readiness activities.
- Leads the execution of the product vision, strategy and roadmap for a product or set of products, communicating the vision and goals of the product to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develops the product positioning and contributes to product pricing decisions.
- Creates and maintains the product backlog, prioritizing needs and mapping out project dependencies to inform the necessary sequence of development.
- Research and innovation for product enhancement, continuously seeking the expansion and improvement of existing products.
- Partners with senior internal stakeholders and customers to validate requirements and priorities through various forums, working closely with customer and strategy teams to ensure processes are met.
- May help on some case to support divisions own project planning especially within the Product and IT stream
- Work with UI/UX teams in creating a simplified product experience for the target market
- Coordinating with cross functional teams to ensure the roadmap and prioritization is aligned
Education:
- Minimum Bachelor degree
- MBA preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience, with at least 5 years experience in product management
- Experience in fintech industry
- Good understanding of cross functional strategic projects, across Commercial and Technology areas.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience in product management working experience on Financial services products
- Experience in high level relationship
- Knowledge of Financial Services regulation
- Knowledge of technology service providers and products in the FinTech space
- Ability to understand priorities, the need for escalation or info dissemination based upon business priorities
- Strong presentation and communication skills (written & verbal).
- Exceptional knowledge of the software development cycle and project management methodologies
- Has an expert understanding of product development and delivery frameworks, especially Agile framework, DevOps practices and services.
- High level of personal drive, positive attitude and initiative
