Emirates NBD, the leading Banking Group in the MENAT region, was formed on 19 June 1963, when H.H. Late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum signed the Charter of Incorporation of the National Bank of Dubai (NBD) which became the first National Bank established in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). With the blessings of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, NBD merged with Emirates Bank International (EBI) on 06 March 2007, to form Emirates NBD, the largest banking group in the region by assets. On 16 October 2007, the shares of Emirates NBD were officially listed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM). What You Will Be Doing
- Partner with data analysts, data scientists, and other technical teams to understand complex data sets and findings.
- Translate technical data jargon and concepts into clear and easy-to-understand business language.
- Extract, clean raw or un/semi structured data from various sources and transform it into usable format for analysis.
- Create data mapping to define how data elements from different sources correspond to each other.
- Work with business leaders to identify their data needs and translate them into actionable questions for the data team.
- Foster a data-driven culture by educating and empowering business users to understand and utilize data effectively.
- Create reports that document data transformation process including source, cleaning and transformation steps and final data format.
- Develop documentation that explains the meaning and structure of transformed data – data dictionary.
- Collaborate with data analysts, business users and IT to communicate transformed data process, quality considerations and data limitations.
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in data related role – business or marketing analyst
- Experience working with data analysis concepts.
- Data visualization tools – Tableau, PowerBI
- Analytical and problem solving
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
