Job Description
- Spearhead ELV security project execution from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, encompassing detailed schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies, tailored to the intricacies of ELV security systems.
- Oversee the procurement of ELV security equipment and materials, negotiating with vendors to secure optimal pricing and delivery schedules, while ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings, proactively identifying and resolving any technical challenges or deviations from the project plan within ELV security installations.
- Manage project budgets meticulously, tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising the integrity of ELV security solutions.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams (engineering, installation, commissioning) and external partners (subcontractors, consultants) to ensure seamless project execution for ELV security projects.
- Prepare and present project status reports to management and clients, providing clear and concise updates on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies for ELV security projects.
- Ensure strict adherence to industry regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards throughout the ELV security project lifecycle, minimizing potential liabilities.
- Lead the commissioning and handover process of ELV security systems, verifying functionality, training end-users, and providing comprehensive documentation.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve project management processes and methodologies, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in delivering ELV security solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in technical principles.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in project management within the ELV security systems industry, showcasing practical knowledge.
- Exhibits proven experience with security system technologies such as CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems.
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of industry standards and regulations (e.g., NFPA, IEC, local codes) for ELV security installations.
- Proficient in using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera And other relevant tools for planning and tracking projects.
- Exhibits exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
- Possesses strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a knack for identifying and resolving technical challenges.
- Displays a proactive and results-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), with proficiency in additional languages being a plus. A team player with leadership skills and high degree of integrity.
