We are hiring Operations Supervisors to oversee real-time management and coordination of critical on-site operations, ensuring smooth system functionality, regulatory compliance, and effective incident response.

This role will enhance efficiency and reliability in operations, enabling the remote operation of project sites from the Aggreko Remote Control Center in Jebel Ali, Dubai, UAE.

What you’ll do:

  • Shift working to provide 24/7 remote operations support to the AMEAPAC region
  • Ensure shift compliance to standard operating procedures including dispatching, service requests, incidents, alarms, TSD and team performance.
  • Follow communication protocols to ensure no unstructured communication both internally and externally.
  • Ontime Reporting as per agreed stakeholder’s requirements & frequency
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting on remote control center activities, performance metrics, and incidents.
  • Lead the Remote Operations Specialists and ensure smooth transitions from shifts changeovers.
  • Analyze data and information from remote systems to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that may require attention.
  • Implement and follow standard operating procedures for remote control center operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, security protocols, and data protection measures
  • Training and mentoring staff on remote control center operations and best practices
  • Provide support to issue remote PTW for sites.
  • Continuously monitoring and evaluating remote control center processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization

You’ll have the following skills and experience: 

  • Engineering Graduate / Higher National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical or Control Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of site environment
  • Must be able to work under own initiative with good organization skills
  • In Depth knowledge of power plant operations and maintenance
  • Data analysis, create insight from data for data driven decision making skills.
  • Fluent in English, excellent oral and written communication
  • Scada & PLC applications including operations and fault finding is an advantage
  • Power generation industry & high voltage network experience is an advantage
