Role in Security, Dubai Marina Yacht Club

To Maintain the policies, procedures and objectives laid out in all Emaar Hospitality Group such as
handbooks, training material, memorandums in accordance with the directives of the Corporate
Director, Emaar Security Group as well as the UAE Rules and regulations. To maintain a safe
environment, maintaining the peace, and acting on any actual violations of local, county, or municipal
code, as well as any violation of EMAAR Policy & Procedures.
· Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments and to delegate work. Ability to direct the
performance of Security staff and follow up with corrections.
· Assist in all initial Safety Training and related state and federal mandatory safety practices such as,
but not limited safety Standards, Hazard Control. Assist in conducting Fire drills (twice a year), weekly
safety inspections of the property and consigns the same to an appropriate records. The inspection
should follow corporate guidelines and meet all state and local requirements pertinent to potential or
actual hazards or codified violations.
· Investigates, or delegates to be investigated, all incidents occurring on their shift and review all
investigation reports for accuracy, grammar and spelling pursuant to incidents having occurred on
their shift or duly assigned.
· Responsible for the discipline of their Officers/Guard, assisting in scheduling, officer reviews, and
officer communiqués.
· Coordinates protection details and security arrangement for VIPs and events. Assist in assigning
posted watches for groups and special meetings.

· Acts a liaison between Security and other hotel departments on their shift, evaluate needs of
locations and coordinates work assignments. Assessing performance of the Security Officers/Guards
per company guidelines.
· Keeps abreast of current trends in the Security, Emergency Service, and Safety Standard.
Crisis Management Support:
· To respond on the incident and the processes that you have put into place to ensure that your
institution reacts properly and orderly to an incident as it occurs.
· Assist in creating intensification rules for the property as an essential element in crisis prevention,
detection, and control.
· Assist to supervise and trains employees in the procedures and processes in the event of crisis and
recovery.
· Coordinates with the Local Authority in the investigation and handling of crimes, incident / accidents
etc., involving the Hotel, associates, or guests.
