Job Purpose
Rooms Controller will be a key position to handle main back of house tasks, including assigning rooms, communicate with housekeeping for rooms’ status.
- Control arrival and departure rooms
- Control VICAS system
- Action traces reports
- Post online payments
- Audit the profile updates
- Check the routing instructions
- Review groups blocks routings, cashiering comments, allocations
- Prepare allocation for Upselling
- Balance inventory and communicate with RSVN on room availability
- Monitor OOS, OOO status.
- Monitor Queue rooms and communicate with the guest once room is ready.
- Allocate next day EA, pre-registered bookings, connecting rooms and any kind of guest requests.
- Review discrepancies and same day due outs, communicate with guests and arrange extensions.
Experience and Technical Knowledge
- Past experience in 5* luxury hotel with solid knowledge of front office operations.
- Solid experience with Opera PMs.
- Organized, people oriented and has good time management.
