The resort is modelled after the Atlantis, Paradise Island resort in Nassau, Bahamas.[5] Almost everything in it is underwater themed.

The Sales Manager – GCC is responsible for driving revenue, strengthening market presence, and developing strategic partnerships across the Gulf Cooperation Council (UAE, KSA, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman). In addition to managing key luxury leisure and corporate accounts, the role also leads the Groups segment covering high-end small groups, social gatherings, incentives, and boutique corporate retreats. The ideal candidate is a proactive seller with strong regional knowledge and the ability to convert both transient and group opportunities into high-value business.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Achieve annual room night, revenue for GCC market and groups production targets
  • Drive performance across luxury leisure accounts, consortia, OTAs, and the groups segment.
  • Focus on high-yield categories including beachfront villas and suites.
  • Develop sales strategies and tactical plans aligned with market demand and seasonal trends.
  • Identify new opportunities across both transient and group channels.

Account Management & Business Development

  • Manage a portfolio of top GCC accounts, ensuring consistent growth and engagement.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, market visits, client entertainment, and training sessions.
  • Lead contracting, rate negotiations, and manage RFPs for both leisure and corporate accounts.
  • Ensure partners receive up-to-date content, collateral, and updates on new experiences and villa offerings.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, and group demand trends in the GCC region.
  • Analyse booking patterns and propose tactical initiatives to capture short-lead business.
  • Submit accurate monthly performance reports with insights, risks, and opportunities.

Collaboration & Internal Alignment

  • Work closely with Revenue, Marketing, Reservations, and F&B to deliver a seamless groups experience.
  • Partner with Kerzner Regional Sales Offices to amplify market reach and support global group enquiries.
  • Host FAM trips, site inspections, and influencer or media visits as required.

Groups Segment Responsibilities

  • Lead the Groups business, owning the full sales cycle from lead generation to conversion.
  • Manage inquiries for incentive groups, social gatherings, small corporate retreats, and VIP delegations.
  • Prepare and present tailored group proposals, quotations, and detailed site inspections.
  • Coordinate with Revenue, Reservations, and Operations to ensure group requests align with availability, profitability, and resort positioning.
  • Build strong relationships with corporate planners, luxury travel designers, DMCs, and event agencies.
  • Ensure flawless handover to operations and maintain communication throughout group stay to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Brand Representation

  • Represent One&Only The Palm at GCC trade shows, corporate showcases, luxury fairs, and MICE-focused events.
  • Deliver strong sales presentations showcasing the resort’s positioning, villas, suites, and unique proposition for high-end groups and incentives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ luxury hospitality sales experience, ideally with GCC market exposure.
  • Proven track record in leisure, corporate, and groups sales.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic .
  • Ability to travel frequently within GCC.
