Sales Operations Analyst
Job Description
Work Arrangement:
This role is categorized as hybrid. The successful candidate is expected to report to the office at minimum three times per week, or as otherwise dictated by business needs, with the option to work remotely up to two times per week.
Your Role:
As a key member of the Sales Operations team, you will support critical activities related to the tracking, monitoring, and expediting of production and shipment of GM Middle East vehicles for MEO markets. You will also drive sales and stock order reporting, manage financial support requests, administer sales systems, and coordinate vehicle logistics and supply chain activities.
What You’ll Do:
– Track, analyze, and report sales performance across Retail, Fleet, and Trader channels.
– Maintain dashboards and monthly business reviews (MBRs) covering KPIs such as volume, market share, sales mix, incentives, and inventory health.
– Deliver actionable insights and trends to support sales decisions and improve execution.
– Conduct key month-end sales activities and support management in Sales & Production (S&P) meetings, including presentation and report preparation.
– Collaborate with Country Managers and Distribution Planning to align volume forecasts with dealer pipeline and inventory availability.
– Support allocation decisions and aged inventory reduction strategies, proactively flagging risks to protect volume delivery and market share.
– Assist in the design, tracking, and evaluation of incentive programs, ensuring dealer compliance and supporting payout validation with Finance.
– Maintain documentation for internal audit and governance processes.
– Act as project management officer (PMO) for strategic initiatives led by the Sales Director, building project trackers, following up with stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
– Consolidate reporting and prepare briefing materials for senior leadership.
Your Skills & Abilities:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
– 3–5 years of experience in sales operations, commercial analysis, or business planning.
– Experience with a major consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Deloitte, etc.) in a strategy, operations, or transformation role is a plus.
– Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI/Tableau; familiarity with SQL or CRM platforms is an advantage.
– Strong analytical mindset, structured problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and manage timelines.
– Self-starter with a bias for action, capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
