Job Description Summary
Representing GE Product line Services in Engine MRO, Establish/Maintain Planning processes through daily management and WORs; Support MRO building and executing on Strategy (Capacity & Capability) via action planning and operating cadence by leading horizontally with GE supporting teams and Engine MRO and maintain strong relationship with Engine MRO leadership

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
• Representing GE Product line Services in Engine MRO
• Build/Maintain strong relationship with Engine MRO leadership
• Establish/Maintain/Support Engine MRO Planning processes through daily management, WORs, MORs & QORs.
• Lead/Support creating KPIs bowler to present Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
• Lead/Support creating Problem Solving Reports to address off-track KPIs
• Drive Operating Cadence by leading horizontally with GE supporting teams and Engine MRO
• Support and Align with Engine MRO in building and executing on short term/long term Strategy (Capacity & Capability) via Action planning
• Drive cadence on operational performance and execution on strategy
• Influence creative solutions and ability to reach out to the right owners by understanding the network and processes
• Engine MRO Tooling support
• Lead/Support Lean events “KAIZEN” via value steam mapping, flow/pull and visual management

Qualifications / Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 20 years of experience in an Engine MRO
• Strong Expertise in Lean, value stream mapping and visual management
• At least 10 years experience in leading cross functional teams

Desired Characteristics
• Strong Technical and interpersonal skills
• Strong Lean Expertise and ability to lead/support Kaizen events
• Strong knowledge and experience of Jet Engines “Preferably GE90 & GP7200”
• Strong knowledge and experience of Engine MRO and components of shop operation (quality, paperwork, gates, etc), Assembly/Disassembly
• Strong knowledge and experience of engine and tooling manual
• Good knowledge and experience of component repairs and repair network
• Good experience in previous operational roles and demonstrated ability to adapt and pivot an operation to support everchanging customer requirements
• Active problem-solving skills and being able to present data to drive action and improvement
• Strong Horizontal leadership skills (Able to keep tabs on work being done by multiple Functions and Steer the team in the right direction for the most favorable outcome for the shop and customer
• Ability to build alternate currencies and drive change through data and consistency
