As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our eCommerce fulfillment center. This role requires strong leadership, operational excellence, and a strategic mindset to ensure efficient order processing, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement. You will manage all aspects of warehouse and logistics activities, drive profitability, and support the company’s growth in the eCommerce sector.

How you create impact

  • Operational Management: Lead all daily warehouse functions including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff; manage scheduling, performance, and team development.
  • Process Optimization: Identify operational inefficiencies and implement best practices to enhance productivity, accuracy, and workflow efficiency.
  • P&L Ownership: Monitor site performance, drive profitability through cost-saving initiatives, and conduct financial analysis for contract renewals and project controlling.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct audits, and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with legal and industry regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Technology & Systems Management: Oversee the use of WMS and automation tools to streamline operations and improve system efficiency.
  • Customer Service & Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards of order accuracy and collaborate with customer service teams to resolve issues promptly.

What we would like you to bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in an eCommerce environment
  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing operational KPIs
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics automation technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools
  • Fluent in English
