Site Manager (PV or CSP expertise)

Masdar is the UAE’s clean energy champion and one of the largest companies of its kind in the world, advancing the development and deployment of renewable energy and green hydrogen technologies to address global sustainability challenges. Masdar is jointly owned by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala), and Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), and under this ownership the company is targeting a renewable energy portfolio capacity of at least 100 gigawatts (GW) by 2030 and an annual green hydrogen production capacity of up to 1 million tones by the same year.

Job Purpose

To represent the company at site and delivery of the assigned projects, ensuring that all activities from permitting, construction, to commissioning, energization, testing and handover of the project achieving world class levels of QHSE, business and manpower performance during all phases within budget, meeting schedules, demonstrating innovation in technology definition and coordinating complex interfaces.

Key Accountabilities: 

• Lead project execution and delivery within time and budget to the desired standards and stated objectives
• Management of project governance, resourcing and quality assurance
• Management of risk and change control for projects
• Manage consultant / stakeholder relations relevant to project delivery
• Management risk and change control for projects
• Manage project handover
• Build a professional project team and contribute to their growth and development
• Comply with information security policies, procedures, requirements at all times
• Support QHSE activities, policies and objectives of Masdar and compliance with the laws and regulations of Abu Dhabi and UAE.

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum 8-10 years of senior project management experience with exposure to global scale and complex energy, technology and utility projects
• Experience in Gulf Region is preferable

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Economics or any other related field
• Master’s degree in a relevant field is an asset
• Project management certification
