Responsibilities

• Operations and Management of VMware Virtualization Systems.
• Operations and Management of multi-vendor servers and storages systems.
• Operations and Management of multi-vendor servers and storages systems.
• Operations and Management of multi-vendor Operating systems.
• Working on ITSM tools for day-to-day tasks related to operations and management.
• Prepare and update system inventories, IP schemes and operations documents.
• Prepare HLD’s, LLD’s, AT and As-Built documents per job requirements.
• Working on firmware upgrades, windows and Linux patching, VMware products patching.
• Perform software version upgrades.
• Optimization of deployed systems in a datacenter environment.
• Working with application teams and involved in cross functional knowledge gathering and sharing.
• Conduct datacenter visits/surveys as and when required.
• Coordination with customer stakeholders.
• Coordination with vendors and OEM.
• Prepare incidents reports, change management plans, root cause analysis reports etc.

MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline such as Computer Science, Computer information systems, electronics.
• 5+ years of experience working in enterprise datacenter environment.
• Experience in implementing and managing VMware products – VMware ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, NSX-T etc.
• Experience in implementing and managing enterprise class SAN and NAS storage systems.
• Experience implementing and managing multivendor server hardware.
• Experience in implementing and managing windows and Linux operating systems environments.
• Experience in implementing and managing backup solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve complex server, storage, and virtualization issues.
• Good knowledge of Networking concepts and hands-on experience of networking equipment.
• Experience in Datacenter implementation & Maintenance in an enterprise environment.
• Experience in working with ITSM tools.
• Familiar with Incident management, Change Management, Problem management etc.
• Understanding of firewalls, VPN, switches, and routers.
• Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory.
• Understanding of server, storage, and virtual environment monitoring tools. Knowledge of automation scripting is a plus.
• Understanding of CCTV system architecture.
• ITIL certification is a plus.
• VMware certification such as VCP-DCV, VCP-NV or equivalent.
• Storage vendor certification preferably Dell.
• Networking certification (CCNA, CCNP) preferred.
