Team Leader – Mechanical
Description:
- Ensure total work quality and repair process as per manufacturers Standards
- Supervise and guide the repair work
- Ensure on time completion of job as per delivery schedule
- Co-ordinate with Job controllers for proper labour and bay utilization
- Ensure W/S efficiency and productivity
- Ensure W/S safety procedures and requirements are strictly applied and followed as per SOP (personal safety/equipment safety/customer’s vehicle etc.)
- Ensure Work Instructions are strictly followed
- Ensure workshop and Technicians cleanliness
- Co-ordinate with Controllers for over time schedule of the Technicians, if necessary.
- Co-ordinate with Parts Dept. for non-available parts.
- Technical/diagnosis assistance to Technicians/Front Line staff
- Technical interaction/explanation with customers if required
- Motivate Technicians and maintain team work
- Ensure achievement of W/S target (Financial & non-financial)
- Sharing/explanation of PSU/Technical bulletins with Technicians
- Providing on job training for Technicians
- Maintaining good inter personal relation with subordinates and superiors.
Qualifications:
- Degree/3 year Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years practical experience in Dealership with minimum 2 years at supervisory level.
