Technical Lead & SME – Infra Operations

What you will do
- As technical expert (Level 2 Operations) you will part of the Managed Services Operations (Infrastructure) team for their IT systems and Greenfield BSS solution.
- Manage customer as well as manage offshore L1 & L2 team for ensuring production system performance and stability.
- Evaluate E2E technical solution proposed by vendors
- Take ownership to drive changes beneficial to production environment including functionality and performance of solutions going live
- Risk assessment of Proposed solution and drive the risk mitigation steps
- Prioritize tickets based on impact/urgency, SLA, RCA, business criticality
- Collaborate with multiple teams in order to uncover, analyze, and resolve client issues
- Vendor Management: Liaising and working with suppliers/vendors for escalation, negotiation, and new product assessment.
- Implement and maintain operational policies, procedures that ensure an optimal operation as per ITIL guidelines.
- Mentoring team technically for any upcoming new solutions and subsequent skill development and concept development
You will bring
- Graduate in Computer Science or similar
- Minimum years of relevant experience: 10+ years of technical experience in large IT Infrastructure environment, preferably with Telco clients
- Conversant with the latest cloud driven architecture on Kubernetes based deployment solutions.
- Conversant in Cloud Management Systems, Virtual Infrastructure Management systems and Cloud Infrastructure Management Systems is required, including hardware knowledge on chassis, blades, RAC mounts.
- Expertise in Containers, Kubernetes and Microservices concepts
- Familiar with Network Technologies (Switches, Routers, Load Balancers)
- Strong skills in Microsoft server solution, Microsoft Office 365 & Exchange, Veritas Enterprise Vault
- Strong skills Microsoft Azure cloud platform
- Should be conversant with ITIL concepts.
