Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Present the Du partner proposition to target partners. Recruit partners through the partner evaluation process, presentation of USP’S, product portfolio and revenue return achievable through the sales of value-added network services
- Monitor and drive through all sales orders that are submitted towards completion in order to ensure customer orders are fulfilled towards activation or service delivery of a sim-pack/handset without errors and issues using the support resources put in place.
- Achieve all set revenue targets in order to ensure KPIs are met.
- Ensure partners look to acquire profitable business in order to ensure maximized revenue earning.
- Attend customer meetings with partner especially for potential large orders to ensure partner is supported effectively and the sales are closed
- Motivate partners’, hold regular formal and informal meetings to ensure the partner remains enthusiastic to task of achieving the sales target.
- Must be knowledgeable and trained on all du portfolio products and services in order to provide the most suitable solutions and support to Partners to allow them to deliver on to du customers.
- Ensure partners are given all necessary training and support on all new products, services and updates in order to ensure they can effectively support du in delivering against targets.
- Ensure weekly and monthly targets are distributed correctly across partners and tracked fully in order to ensure achieving of targets by close of year or quarter on quarter.
- Ensure that the number of partners in your business are adequate to achieve required sales targets.
- Establishing strategic partnerships with SME hubs, such as Hub71, to penetrate the startup ecosystem.
- Increasing SME footprint and Enterprise branding in retail stores in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain
Qualifications, experience, skills and competencies
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelors in sales/marketing/business or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years in a similar/relevant role with minimum 3 years of experience in sales preferably in IT or Telecoms.
- Understanding and experience of channel management role in Telecommunication industry preferably ME/LE market sector
- Good understanding of Mobile and Fixed services
- Good understanding and training in partner management and sales
Skills
- Specific experience in directly setting up third party channel partnerships within the virtual network operators (VNO), system integrators (SI), network integrators (NI), value added resellers (VAR) & voice integrators (VI)
- Knowledge of the VNO, SI, NI & VAR base
- Detailed understanding and experience of channel sales process & implementing channel programs
- Ability to network within a customer organization to identify key influencers and decision makers demonstrable experience selling complex IT/telecoms solutions through an indirect model solid understanding of IP and Telecoms Industry
- Ability to be highly responsive, work quickly and be highly collaborative.
- Ability to succeed in fast-paced large, corporate environment with many cross functional partners.
- Demonstrates a ‘my business’ mentality by taking ownership and ensuring E2E service is provided to supported business verticals
- Demonstrate high standards of personal motivation and initiative
