A well-known client of Domo Ventures in Dubai is looking for a Unit Manager – Maternity Ward. Calling all the Midwives with Managerial experience to apply for the role. 

 Title:

  • Unit Manager Maternity ( Labor and Delivery )

Location:

  • Dubai, Unit Arab Emirates

Industry

  • Healthcare/Medical

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Midwifery; OR Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery AND Bachelor or Nursing; OR Bachelor or Nursing AND postgraduate or Masters Degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Maternal Nursing is a must-have.
  • Master of Science in Midwifery or related Healthcare field is desirable.

Experience:

  • At least 3-5 years of senior nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital.
  • 5-10 years of senior nursing experience is a plus.

License:

  • Hold a Valid DHA/DoH/ MoH  license titled as Midwife ( For candidates working in UAE )
  • Home country license titled as Midwife (For candidates applying outside of UAE )

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating nurse and medical staff performance and managing daily treatment schedules.
  • Enforcing health and safety regulations.
  • Solving staffing issues and shortages.
  • Evaluating and adjusting treatment plans based on patient condition and monitoring pregnant women. Undertaking antenatal care in hospitals.
  • Ensuring the unit meets company guidelines.
  • Completing admission and discharge forms.
  • Delivering hands-on care and medication administration as needed.
  • Communicating l issues with the director of nursing.
  • Acting as a liaison between patients’ families and healthcare staff.
  • Managing hospital equipment inventory.
