Vehicle Body Repairer
Job Description
This position involves performing vehicle body repairs according to manufacturer standards to ensure high-quality results. The technician is responsible for maximizing productivity, maintaining tools and equipment, and improving skills through training. The role also includes preparing repaired body areas for painting and providing repair feedback to supervisors to secure necessary approvals.
Responsibilities:
- Perform allocated repairs in accordance with Manufacturer’s repair procedures
- Avoid time wastage to improve productivity
- Use tools, equipment, and manuals properly and keep them in good condition
- Attend training and self-study sessions to improve skills and product knowledge
- Report additional repair requirements to supervisor for customer/insurance approval
- Maintain cleanliness of the working area for a safe and healthy environment
- Prepare repaired body areas of vehicles with proper finishing for the painting process
Requirements
- High School graduate or technical education in the automotive field
- 3–5 years of experience in automobile body repair
- Physically fit and hardworking
- Responsible and reliable
