Role Summary 

The Vice President, Luxury Brands – Middle East & Africa (MEA), is responsible for ensuring appropriate representation and pull through of Marriott International’s Luxury Brands in the MEA region. The VP is the owner of the Luxury Brand strategy in the MEA region and is responsible for ensuring on-brand execution across hotels. The VP will drive ongoing collaboration with and act as a partner to the Global Luxury Brand team.

The VP Luxury Brands, MEA is accountable for partnering with Continent Leadership and Global Luxury Brand teams to devise and execute Luxury Brand initiatives and brand marketing campaigns for MEA. The leader is responsible for constantly enhancing the direction for the Luxury Brands in MEA by driving culturally relevant Brand Marketing, ensuring localized Brand Management, collaborating with Development to achieve on-strategy portfolio growth and driving alignment within the wider Luxury Group.

To be successful in this role, the leader will be responsible for executing and constantly enhancing the direction for the Luxury brand’s including:

  • Delivering strong brand marketing programmes through strong partnership and collaborations to deliver external and internal campaigns that drive business, awareness and affinity to our Luxury brands.
  • Be deeply knowledgeable and represent customer insights and ensure any global strategy is locally relevant to drive connections.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders within Development and Global Design to drive the growth of on-strategy Luxury brands in the region
  • Leading cross discipline, organizational alignment and accountability for successful initiatives that are, mission critical and innovative, driving quality and consistent achievement of brand operating standards (e.g. service, food and beverage, opening hotels and improvement locations)
  • As the primary point of contact for Luxury MEA, establishing strong relationships and communication platforms to nurture Luxury Brand success alongside multiple and varied stakeholders (including Headquarter, EMEA and hotel leadership teams).

The position reports to VP, Luxury Brand & Communications, EMEA.

Experience

  • 15+ years of brand marketing, brand management, product management, and/or hotel operations.
  • Lodging industry experience is strongly preferred
  • Prior Luxury experience required
  • Multiple language ability preferred
