Warehouse Shift Leader

The Warehouse Shift Leader supervises warehouse staff during shifts, handles incoming deliveries, and maintains inventory records. Responsibilities include picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, operating equipment, and ensuring warehouse cleanliness and safety. The role involves coordinating tasks with team members, assisting with inventory counts, preparing linen and housekeeping materials, replenishing liquids, and maintaining maintenance material records.

• Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervising and coordinating the activities of warehouse staff in their respective shift.
  2. Receiving and inspecting incoming Delivery of goods
  3. Sorting and organizing products in the warehouse
  4. Maintaining accurate inventory records and tracking stock levels
  5. Picking, packing, and preparing orders for Deliveries
  6. Loading and unloading trucks and Delivery Vans
  7. Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
  8. Maintenance Material Records next shift.
  9. Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
  10. Following safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
  11. Communicating with other team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues
  12. Assisting with periodic inventory counts and audits.
  13. Linen & Housekeeping Material Preparation.
  14. Replenishment of liquids

• Requirements:
  1. Experience in warehouse coordination or a similar role
  2. Strong organizational and supervisory skills & Excel , google sheet and Microsoft word
  3. Ability to receive, inspect, sort, and organize products
  4. Proficiency in maintaining accurate inventory records
  5. Skills in picking, packing, and preparing orders for delivery
  6. Experience with loading and unloading trucks and delivery vans
  7. Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks
  8. Commitment to ensuring cleanliness and organization in the warehouse
  9. Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines
  10. Effective communication skills for coordinating tasks and resolving issues
  11. Ability to assist with periodic inventory counts and audits
  12. Experience in preparing linen and housekeeping materials
  13. Ability to replenish liquids and maintain maintenance material records
