As a Web-Based Training Programming Intern, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our online training courses to meet the needs of our diverse audience. You will work closely with our training team to create engaging and interactive learning experiences that drive learner engagement and knowledge retention. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in e-learning development while contributing to meaningful projects that impact our learners’ success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current web-based training modules and online library, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the training team to understand learning objectives, target audience, and content requirements for the In-Vehicle technology training materials.
  • Utilize Adobe Captivate software to redesign and modernize existing training modules, incorporating interactive elements, multimedia resources, and engaging simulations.
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal viewing and functionality across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Enhance the visual design and user interface of the online library, focusing on intuitive navigation, clear organization, and aesthetic appeal.
  • Develop prototypes and conduct usability testing to gather feedback from stakeholders and end users, iteratively refining the design based on insights and recommendations.
  • Integrate accessibility features to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, making the training materials inclusive and accessible to all learners.
  • Document the design process, including rationale behind design decisions, technical specifications, and best practices for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Required Educational Background:
Currently enrolled in a degree program related to instructional design, educational technology, computer science, or a related field.

Required Skils:

  • Strong passion for education, technology, and e-learning development.
  • Proficiency in authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar e-learning software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages and tools is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Prior experience with instructional design, e-learning development, or multimedia production is desirable but not required.
